I awake at 3am with things on my mind…..As I make my way down the hall into my office the lyrics to an old song come to mind “He is always there, hearing every prayer, faithful and true”….and again I want to thank all those of you who are praying for this ministry. I am happy to announce that God has supplied the vehicle needed for the lady in house and I believe that it is the prayers of God’s people that has stirred His heart into action.
Vickie is now the happy owner of a 2004 Pontiac Grand Am, that was just the right price to fit her very small budget and came to us in a way we did not expect and right on time. As I continually tell the ladies in the house, “God has a plan, you do your best and trust Him with the rest, and you will see amazing things begin to happen in your life”.
“For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart, I will be found by you”, declares the Lord. Jeremiah 29:11-14
God continues to amaze us and He is teaching us so many things through this ministry. I personally am learning to truly trust Him in all things and not to get discouraged, worried or fearful when things happen that I don’t expect. Nothing happens that He is not aware of and “all things work together for good to those who love the Lord and have been called according to His holy purpose”. ( Romans 8:28) I often say God’s got it covered and wait to see what He will do. If it wasn’t for seeing God during these times, I would lose heart, but God is faithful and HE IS ALWAYS THERE….and we press on…..(Galatians 6:9) “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up”. This is a verse that brings me much encouragement and I hope it brings encouragement to you also as you walk by faith.
