Thanks to all of the Oaks Ministry Prayer Warriors who bring this ministry before our Father’s throne. I know you are praying for God is roaring like a LION displaying His power in and through the Oaks Ministry. There is no way we could be doing what we’ve been doing without the strength coming from within. My personal schedule is fuller than its ever been, having said that I am enjoying life and the ministry God has given me. Yes I am tired, but its a good tired. Praise the Lord!
We want to thank you for the prayers for our resident that needed a car. God has graciously provided Jen with a very nice vehicle at a very good price. We praise God for his provision and for the prayers of His people. Saturday AM we had our monthly team meetings at the Oaks house. As I pulled in the driveway and saw 3 vehicles parked that belong to the 3 ladies in house, I was overwhelmed with joy. Having a vehicle that you bought with your own earnings, tagged, insured and ready to go is a huge step of independence for our ladies. They no longer have to depend on someone else for transportation which opens up many doors of opportunities for them. Praise the Lord!
We also thank you for the prayers for our resident that had neck surgery. Anita made it through the surgery very well and is at home recovering. She is in less pain and we are expecting a full recovery. The other residents are doing more work to cover for Anita, but they are doing it joyfully and the work is getting done. Praise the Lord!
Again, we know you have been praying because we have two possibilities for House Manager for Oaks 2. Praise the Lord! We are accepting applications for residents. If you know of any women who is in need of what we offer, please have her send in her application. Lord willing we will have 3 or 4 vacancies in our program beginning October 1st.
Oaks House 2 is becoming more and more beautiful each day as we get it ready for God’s special ladies. Oaks House 2 will be just as beautiful as Oaks 1. It too will be a “planting of the Lord for the display of His splendor”. God is providing the much needed workers to help us make it beautiful. There is a lot of woodwork that needs painted. If you know of anyone that likes to paint or would just like to work on God’s house, please send them our way.
