A lot of good things have been happening as a result of The Oaks Ministry program! It is with a mixture of emotions that we celebrate our residents new beginnings which are a reminder of why we are here. Recently 3 of our residents have completed our program and have moved into their new residence. We hope that they will stay connected with us and maintain the friendships that have been formed. Two of those residents re-enforced their commitment to Christ by being baptized while in our program. We celebrate their new life with them although they will be missed.
Since our homes have been at full capacity for almost a year, we now find ourselves with 4 new openings, so if you know of anyone that is in need of a fresh start, a new beginning, now would be a good time to apply. Today, December 1st is “Giving Tuesday 2020”. A time for people to share their blessings with organizations that are doing a good work. We ask you to consider supporting our cause. There you will find a link promoting “Giving Tuesday 2020”. 100% of all your donations will come to Oaks Ministry. Today Facebook is matching donations to organizations that meet their requirements. If you are on our mailing list you recently received a newsletter with a year-end letter and an envelope for your convenience.
During this season of remembering and giving, we want to thank you for your continued support. We love you and love that you love us back by supporting us, not just financially, but spiritually with your prayers and physically with your help.
