Summer went by so quickly. I always thought the older you got the slower time went, but I’m learning it doesn’t work that way. The women in our program are working hard at becoming financially stable and independent while learning about Jesus and the difference He makes in our lives when we choose to follow Him. Dawn Grieco has completed her Summer Bible Class called “The Hem of His Garment” Hope for those that need Healing. All of our ladies are hearing and hopefully learning that as long as you have “Hope” in Jesus you can cope with the trials God allows in our lives. In addition to our classes we give our residents the opportunity to go to weekly professional counseling sessions with our counselor Kathy Brown, from New Hope Counseling Center in Quarryville. Our residents love spending time with her and she is a blessing!
Of course along with the Blessings come expenses, therefore we are planning a Concert to help raise funds for Our Mission “to provide hope, healing and restoration in a Christ-centered residential environment for women in need.”
We are featuring:
“Danny Paisley and the Southern Grass”, a 3-time winner of the “IBMA Male Vocalist” of the Year. Danny and his group will be entertaining us on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Waterway Church, 550 Waterway Road, Oxford, Pa 19363. Lobby Opens at 6PM beginning with Refreshments.
